Academics/Programs

Breckenridge Community Schools will provide the time and resources to collaboratively and continually align PK-12 curriculum.

In anatomy class, students engaged in a hands-on activity dissecting gummy bears to learn about anatomical planes and sections. Understanding these concepts is essential for accurately describing locations and orientations of structures within the human body, which is foundational for future studies in health and medical sciences.

Getting students actively engaged in learning is so important! πŸ“šβœ¨ Research shows that when students move, discuss, and interact with content, they retain information longer and develop stronger critical-thinking skills. πŸ’‘πŸ™Œ

Ms. Gronski’s classroom is a great example, demonstrating active learning strategies that keep students moving, thinking, and learning together! πŸ‘πŸŽ‰
