What an exciting and engaging week at Breckenridge Community Schools!

From a send-off for our Varsity Girls Golf Team heading to the State Finals, to the innovative learning happening in every classroom, it is wonderful to see our students thriving. This success is possible because of our unified commitment: One team, one goal, every student thrives.

Why Breckenridge is a Great Choice?

Breckenridge is a great choice for your student because we are committed to providing a variety of real-world opportunities within a nurturing, community-focused environment where every child is known.

This commitment perfectly aligns with our mission: to educate, support, and inspire each student to achieve personal excellence and success.

Academics in Action (Educate & Inspire): Our students are actively engaged in learning that leads to success. This week, sophomores explored future careers at MiCareerQuest, and our Botany and FFA students were hands-on with native seed collection and successfully harvesting from our new hydroponics system. We focus on ensuring every student reaches their maximum potential.

Supportive Culture (Support): We prioritize an environment where students feel valued. My personal tradition of giving every student a new book on their birthday and highlighting student effort on the "Wall of Wonderful Work" demonstrates our commitment to every Huskie's growth.

Thank you for your partnership. Your support is the foundation of our success!

Go Huskies!

Academics/Programs

Breckenridge Community Schools will provide the time and resources to collaboratively and continually align PK-12 curriculum.

Our incredible sophomores just crushed it at MiCareerQuest last week! From hands-on demos in high-demand industries to eye-opening chats with local pros, these future leaders discovered careers they never knew existed. Huge shoutout to the West Michigan Works! Watch out, world—our kids are ready to chase those dreams!

Our botany students had an amazing field trip to Forest Hill Nature Center on Wednesday! They were busy on a very important mission: collecting native seeds!

The goal? To bring those seeds back to school and try to grow our very own native trees! 🌿 We can't wait to watch our project grow.

A big thank you to Forest Hill for hosting us!

Big news from our FFA classes. Our hydroponic system, FRED, successfully harvested its first crop of lettuce. That's a huge win!

Next up: We are challenging FRED with cucumbers! 🥒

Learning and growing together!

What an incredible week for our LINKS German Exchange students! 🇩🇪🇺🇸 Our guests are truly immersing themselves in Michigan, and this week's trip to Mackinac was a highlight! From the historic fort to the breathtaking views, they experienced a true Michigan gem. It's wonderful to see them learning alongside our BHS students and exploring our beautiful state.

We love seeing the connections being made, and we can't wait for our BHS students to experience Germany this spring!
