Future Pros in the Making! 🛠️✨

Our 8th graders had an incredible day exploring the Mt. Pleasant GI-TEC center! It was a fantastic opportunity for them to get a firsthand look at the exciting career paths and hands-on skills waiting for them in just a few short years.

The tours were top-notch, but the highlight was definitely seeing our very own juniors and seniors in action! From cutting-edge tech labs to interactive workshops, our older students did an amazing job showcasing the programs they’ve been mastering.

It’s inspiring to see our students building their futures and leading the way. The future is bright for our Huskies! 🌟

Community Pride in Action: Our Students Giving Back

It is truly inspiring to see these students taking such an active role in caring for their community. Their hard work at the cemetery on Arbor Day is a wonderful example of civic engagement and respect for their local history and the final resting place of their neighbors.

It takes a dedicated group to handle the physical labor of cleaning up grounds, clearing debris, and beautifying such an important space. Efforts like this not only improve the appearance of the village but also foster a strong sense of pride and connection among the students who participated.

Please pass along a heartfelt thank you to the Breckenridge students for their time, energy, and commitment to serving others. Their contributions make a tangible, positive difference!

Spring Testing Update: Thank You, Huskies! 📝💡

Spring testing is in full swing at Breckenridge! Our students have been hard at work tackling the M-STEP, PSAT, SAT, and WIN assessments. We are so proud of the focus and effort they have shown while doing their best.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff for their dedication, patience, and hard work in organizing and administering these tests. We couldn’t do it without you!

As we move forward, please note that we will be kicking off our end-of-year NWEA testing over the next few weeks. Let’s keep up the great momentum and finish the school year strong! 🎓

From Blue Jackets to Helping Hands! 💙💛

What a week for the Breckenridge FFA chapter! We kicked things off with our annual FFA Banquet, a special event dedicated to celebrating the hard work, grit, and growth of our members over the past year. Seeing those iconic blue jackets fill the stage is a constant reminder of the leadership legacy being built right here in our halls. 🏅

But for an FFA member, leadership doesn’t stop at the stage. This past week, our students were also out in the community, volunteering at the Breckenridge United Methodist Church for the Food Pantry benefit. Whether they were serving up a taco bar or helping with the auction, these students showed what "Living to Serve" truly looks like. 🌮🤝

We are so proud of our students for excelling in the classroom and showing up for their neighbors!

Excellence in Action: Breckenridge NHS Induction 2026

he spirit of excellence was on full display last night, Thursday, April 30, as the Breckenridge High School chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) held its annual induction ceremony. The evening served as both a formal welcome for the chapter's newest members and a heartfelt tribute to the graduating seniors who have dedicated their high school careers to the organization's mission.

Friends, family, and faculty gathered in the auditorium to witness the traditional candle-lighting ceremony, a symbolic tribute to the four foundational pillars that define every NHS member:

Scholarship: A commitment to lifelong learning and academic rigor.

Service: The desire to volunteer time and talent to help others without compensation.

Leadership: The courage to guide others and exert a positive influence on the school and community.

Character: The pursuit of integrity, honesty, and reliability in all aspects of life.

Welcoming New Leaders

The ceremony highlighted the hard work and discipline required to earn a seat in this prestigious organization. As the new inductees recited the NHS pledge, they committed themselves to maintaining these high standards and continuing the chapter’s legacy of community support.

Celebrating Our Seniors

While the night was about new beginnings, it was also a moment of reflection for the chapter's seniors. These students were honored for their years of service, having organized local initiatives and served as role models for their peers. As they prepare for graduation, their contributions leave a lasting impact on both the school halls and the wider Breckenridge community.

"Being part of NHS isn't just about an academic record; it's about what you do with your knowledge to make the world around you better. Tonight, we celebrate that drive to serve."

Congratulations to all the new inductees and a huge thank you to our seniors for their unwavering commitment to excellence!
